In the modern world where technology is the king of almost everything

In the modern world where technology is the king of almost everything you have to think about what technology has brought us. For instance cars, that we use to go to the shops and back, or to work, or if we want to go away to somewhere nice for a little bit. In the last one hundred years we have come in huge leaps and bounds when it comes to aviation, with the Wright brothers being the first to take to the air in the worlds first powered aircraft. Then some eleven years later aircraft were being used as combat weapons in the skies over Europe in World War One. Two decades after the end of the first world war, aircraft were used again, this time in skies all over the world in the second World War, with jet aircraft technology being perfected and used in combat towards the dying months of hostilities. Today some sixty years later, aircraft are still used as a formidable combat weapon, but aircraft all also used to transport holiday makers to places all around the world, and to also deliver cargo to places normal modes of transportwouldn'tbe able to reach on their own. There is one very big thing that connects both car technology and aircraft technology and is even used in them, as well as used to make them, and that is computer technology. Yes in the world of today computers are the life and soul of everyone. Computers give us the ability to do almost everything we need to do in our everyday life. You can do on-line shopping, or even download a game to play on your computer, also read emails, in which most will find their way into the junk email folder! Computers also have their ownspecialtype of technology which is web software development, and without it weprobablywould not be able to shop for the latest things we need online, or get that game wedesperatelycrave. In addition to this web software development also has a hand in our aviation as well as our car technology. Companies making the aircraft and cars need web software development to advertise their websites and to also make them look amazing. The web software development is alsoevidentin the way the aircraft of today work andfunction, as without it the pilotswouldn'tbe able to navigate to their destinations, or would the people on the ground control be able to see the aircraft on radar. The technology of today ismarvelousand we have seen just how far we have come in one hundred years, think of where technology will be in another one hundred years.

I was not sure what I wanted to do career wise. I thought that I should do as many different subjects as possible so I could take up any career. I got GCSE passes in Maths, English Language, History and Geography. I did a B Tec National Diploma in Business and Finance. I got two merits and the rest of it at pass grades. However when I left it I still didn't know which job I wished to do.

The information highway has always been a major agent for bringing new ideas that make life easier and more interesting for more and more people. Whether it is business such as B2B services, or entertainment such as on-line gaming, website designers are particularly challenged to cope with the needs of the times.

My husband isn't very happy with where he had left his education standing. He would love to go back to school to get his Bachelor's Degree. I want to help him achieve that goal. Right now he is working at a company for website design. He loves his job, but he wants to climb up the corporate ladder and land a higher paying job. Doingwebsite designis something that he has always been involved with, but he wants to do more. He loves the company that he works for, and he would like to stay with the company, just in a higher position.

Internet. How would the world be without internet?Have you ever asked yourself that question?Millions and millions of people connect on the internet everyday. To connect to the internet you need internet access and a browser. The best browsers are: Mozilla Firefox,Opera,Internet exploler, google chrome,Apple Safari. For me the best is Firefox.Internet access has changed so much.First it was with cable and it was very very slow. The internet is way faster than it was 5-6 years ago.But the speed isn't the only thing that has changed, now most of the internet users, especially the laptop users use wifi, because its better and the internet doesn't disconnects if you just move your laptop.Much people started making websites.Web designs are the main part in websites.Although now you can find alot of already made web designs if you want to have something unique than you must try to do it yourself. The sites are made in php which means hypertext preprocessor. You will also need html in some sites like in forums.HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. Now there are much free to make website and domain(it will have something added by the providers like webs.com/yoursitenam or yoursitename.piczo.com.The best is freewebs or now only webs.It provides many web designs, and many features. But if you want to have a bit more professional site than you will have to invest some money in host or domain. If you are freewebs user than it will be easier, you will have to pay for domain and premium so you can have a site with ads that you can get money from. The money invested in premium membership are almost no cost. You will ask why??. Well you will pay for getting those ads out , so you can put your ads which if you have much visitors and traffic then you will get way more money than you have invested.Web designing might look might look easy but in a fact they aren't.Unless you use free webs and some already made web designs. If you want to be unique than you will have to spend a little more money and a little more time. There are so many web sites these days,i bet there are even more then 60.000.000 websites which is alot. Some of the sites are made from people who want to scam.So you can trust every site you see,you dont know who the maker was so i would suggest you:Dont give your personal informations to everyone, later they might sell your email to another company which will spam you all the time.

Playing games on-line has been becoming very popular these days. Many of my friends have joined on-line gaming sites, and spend a lot of time playing games there. It certainly gets very addictive too. The game rooms in the shopping malls and public places are full with players most of the time.

Published Friday, 14th Aug 10:00 BST
I wanted to make my own website to advertise my ability as a financial advisor who specializes in on-line investing, so I had to find a web designer to make the site. Since my website needed to be very sophisticated to handle the computing power required for on-line investing, he needed to use state of the art web software development tools. First, I had to created a domain name for the website so customers would be able to access my website over the internet. My domain name had to be short, yet easy to remember so people would go to the website once I told them about it. I decided that it would www.einvest.com which was simple and easy to remember. Once the domain name was established, the web designer proceeded to make my website. Since the site was meant for on-line investing, it needed to take in a constant stream of financial data which would display real time stock and bond prices. This helps my customers make the right investment at the right time. The web designer decided to give my website a more sophisticated and streamlined look and added a bunch of drop down menus, and widgets. In the end, I was very happy with the end result which was a sophisticated yet easy to use website that would definately make customers happy. After a year or so of operation, the site is booming with over one million investors who invested a total of over one billion dollars in stocks, bonds, collateralized debts, and mutual funds. So far, the site has been very successful so I decided to tell other people about my success by speaking at a few financial symposiums and telling them about my online investing endeavors. At first, they were skeptical but once a few of them started establishing online investing sites, many converted to beleavers and started to create sites of their own which in turn became relatively successful. Afterwards, I decided to retire and gave the website to my son who now maintains it and he has also been pretty successful in the financial world.

I took out my laptop just as I got home from school, as usual and connected to the internet connection, while logging on to Yahoo! Messenger and WLM Messenger. The Messenger's have become an important part of my daily schedule. I can't go to sleep without logging in to the messenger at least once. I then downloaded the web software development kit I had ordered yesterday and began to study the tutorial. While I was doing this, my little brother came out of nowhere and knocked my laptop out of my lap! It crashed to the floor and lots of clinking noises reverberated. I watched all with my mouth open, eyes fixed on my brother. He ran into the room and locked the door in a second while I was left to count the damage. I had to complete an important school assignment which was saved on the laptops hard disk and the web software development kit also had only one copy which was at the same place. I would have to spend $499 again. But that was not the most of my worries, the laptop repair would probably cost even more than all that combined. I was really horror-struck at that time and its hard to describe. I then looked at the laptop and picked it up, trying to examine the damage. One thing was clear, the LCD was not gonna work again. It had a huge, long crack down the middle. The keyboard looked pretty alright. I then placed the laptop upside down on my lap and examined the damage in the innards. A relief coursed through me, the hard disk was safe, and so were the processor and the motherboard, so the computer still booted up with no image on the screen. The hard disk was the most important as my expensive web software development kit was in there. The RAM, though, had a crack on one side so it was unusable. The internet connection adapter also looked a little faulty. I called the manufacturer and sent in my laptop. They were really nice and when I told them about my School assignment, they agreed to do the repair work within 2 days. The whole thing cost around $300, including the LCD, RAM and the Internet Connection adapter too. I was so happy for the following days due to the miraculous survival of my laptop and also forgave my brother!

Buying on-line is really a big business. I, myself buy online alot. You could use a credit card, write a check, paypal, all sorts of payment methods. But you have to be careful buying on-line, there are all sorts of scams and spam. So make sure you have more than one email account. It would come in really handy when you need it.

As someone who works professionally as a moderator on the information highway, I have come to realize that I am highly aware (and sometimes critical) of websites and even web designs. In my work, I am required to spend a great deal of time surfing and I have to admit that I'm not always impressed by what I find.

Working in a web development company, having an email it's a must. Even if it wasn't I had to have an email. But everyday when I turn my internet connection on (I always leave it off before I go home) I enter my Outlook Express and start receiving lots of emails, most of them are junk email. It completely sucks because we need to sort personal and job related emails and we still have to spend time deleting junk email. It's a waste of 30 minutes everyday. I actually contacted my domain manager about it, she said I should be careful in what kind of sites I give my email address, she must think I'm a total dumb, my internet experience is huge! I was even going to report her to the domain company that holds and host my domain but I didn't want to worry about this kind of issues. Probably someone else would say the same thing. I don't really care. Yesterday I didn't have anything special to do so after a couple of hours of work I had some free time so I decided to check if any invisible program was running and using my internet connection to make me receive several amounts of junk email everyday. Nothing wrong, nothing running. After checking some other stuff I didn't know what else to do so after some thought I contacted my domain manager and asked her to block some words that had some non respectable words. It could reduce the amount of junk email. She said to me "I did that when you called me talking about your problem, sweetie. There's not much I can do". I hung up. I hate when she calls me sweetie, she doesn't have any kind of relationship with me and treats me like we're bff. I deleted my old email and made a new one, I was certain this would stop my junk email. Contacted everyone to let them know that I was changing my email address. Before I went home I turned off my internet connection again and run to the car because it was raining.

I have done a bit of web design on it, but I find it difficult to remember all the HTML bits, so I keep going back and forth to messenger to find out the HTML codes.

At first, our computer were just merely electronic typewriters, but when the internet arrived and boomed, our company tried to adopt to these changes. As the years pass website development have really been improved. As internet cafe owners, we have devised ways and programs to be able to come up with the fast improving cyberspace and of course the need of out clients.

These days, it is quite well assumed that everyone has an internet connection at home. Everyone thinks that everyone else likes to download music, use their novice web design skills to develop profile pages on social networking sites and participate in online communities and forums. While a great majority of folks on-line may be doing all of those things, it doesn't mean they have the ability to do them from home.
